Sadaham Foundation of Australia was founded in Australia in 2008

 

Vision

 * Propagate Buddhism in the world

 * Print publications about Buddhism

 * Organize Buddhist programs on electronic media

 * Organize Buddhist seminars and workshops

 * Organize religious activities in Buddhist temples

 

Mission

At the moment our foundation conducts in Sinhala, a Buddhist meditation radio program in Melbourne, Australia on FM 97.1 every Tuesday from 6.00-7.00 AM  A Web Cast of this program is available by clicking on Sadaham Handa (voice of Dhamma) from the bottom pane of this web site.

 

Full moon day is a very significant day for Buddhists; however, it is not a holiday in non Buddhist countries.  As a result, people tend to forget the full moon poya day. In order to uphold the significance of the day, our foundation organizes Dhamma Sermons in temples across Melbourne. We are also hoping to expand to other states and cities in Australia and to the World.

Our next step is to set up a Buddhist Information Centre in Melbourne, a place that accomodates people that are willing to study Buddhism.
